Have made contact with the man in the hat!
He certainly did have a package for me. At first, it looks like any other ordinary Benchmade Model 42. But, when you open it, there's a rather delightful surprise.

Is that a double-edged Hawkbill blade? Yes it is... quite possibly the first hawkbilled balisong ever made.

Unfortunately, the X-Ray spectrometer thingy in my watch doesn't seem to be working. It reports that the blade is made of "Talonite". Talonite???
