Located Darrel Ralph hiding out at table 11-P which, according to my official program, is assigned to, uh... Ralph, Darrel. Ok.
As expected, the table is mobbed by adoring Darrel Ralph fans. So, I used the secret equipment provided. I yelled, "Free Apogees" and tossed the Changmade Apogee copies on the floor in the opposite direction. This ploy worked perfectly.
In the confusion, I searched Darrel's bag. But, there were no finished production Geminis. He was, however, carrying this work-in-progress handle for a production Gemini.

Notice how incredibly deep the anodized color is. Keep in mind that anodized color is hard to photograph and that it's especially hard to photograph it under the mercury-vapor lamps in this room. A very fast film balanced for daylight doesn't help either. Take my work for it. These handles are deep blue and purple. It's amazing. Probably the most dramatic Ti anodizing I've ever seen.
Notice also that he's rounded this handle even more than the original prototype. This will make the handles even lighter and make Gemini even faster.
Mr. Ralph reports that he's working on some skeleton Ti pieces first. He expects to make some deliveries, "soon."
My guess is that a few Gemini customers are shortly going to become Gemini owners and that they're going to be very, very happy indeed.
