The latch, handles, and clip are stainless steel. The stainless blends nicely with the Damascus in either stag or ivory.

The tang stamp reads "PABU" on front side and "MIKE E (over) USA" on the back.

On the front of the blade, below the PABU stamp, you can see some other marking. It's a secret message. It's actually a stylized version of a Chinese character.

Who would hide a secret message on a knife? A playful knife maker would, that's who. This knife actually has two. But I'm not going to show you the other.

"MIKE E," by the way, is the owner's first name and last initial. Pabu likes very much to customize each knife for its owner.
